let us go across to the other side...

Remember where we left off???

On April 16, 2016 I passed the domino necklace hanging in my closet and muttered to myself "looks like I got that one wrong."
The very next day, Matthew Cavin (our Connections Pastor) stood on the stage of my church and made an announcement about the youth going to Boston and there would be "other opportunities" for people to serve in that area as well.

So, that was a nice smack upside the back of the head for doubting God. You'd think I'd know better by now.

AND THEN...

April 20th at 9:19 am I received an email from David Bennett, our youth pastor. It was part of an exchange about another project, completely unrelated to Boston. And he adds...

On a different note, I wanted to let you know that as we have put together our student team for the Boston Mission Trip in July we have spots available!! In fact, I would really like to have another female chaperone for our student trip! I wanted to check and see if you are still interested in joining us?
And I cried (yeah. yeah. It happens a lot).

I got my ducks in a row (I stopped crying enough to make a few arrangements)... at 2:25pm, I emailed him back - "Alright - I'm in!"

“On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, “Let us go across to the other side.” – Mark 4:35

Prayer Prompt:
Please pray that I will prepare my heart over the next 19 days for this trip, that my passion for the area will remain strong, that I'll keep crying the good tears.
